Application of the Lie Symmetry Analysis for second-order fractional differential equations
Obtaining analytical or numerical solution of fractional differential equations is one of the troublesome and challenging issue among mathematicians and engineers, specifically in recent years. The purpose of this paper Lie Symmetry method is developed to solve second-order fractional differential equations, based on conformable fractional derivative. Some numerical examples are presented to il...
متن کاملOrder Ordinary Differential Equations
The DI methods for directly solving a system ofa general higher order ODEs are discussed. The convergence of the constant stepsize and constant order formulation of the DI methods is proven first before the convergencefor the variable order and stepsize case.
متن کاملINVESTIGATION OF BOUNDARY LAYERS IN A SINGULAR PERTURBATION PROBLEM INCLUDING A 4TH ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
In this paper, we investigate a singular perturbation problem including a fourth order O.D.E. with general linear boundary conditions. Firstly, we obtain the necessary conditions of solution of O.D.E. by making use of fundamental solution, then by compatibility of these conditions with boundary conditions, we determine that, for given perturbation problem, whether boundary layer is formed or not.
متن کاملAn autonomous system of ordinary differential equations
This is a translation of the second (1949) Russian edition. There are four chapters, a bibliography and index to part one. Chapter one is on existence and continuity theorems. It contains existence and uniqueness theorems for real systems and includes dependence on initial conditions, but not on parameters. The last section is on fields of lineal elements. Chapter two is on systems of two diffe...
متن کاملA Further Result on the Instability of Solutions to a Class of Non-Autonomous Ordinary Differential Equations of Sixth Order
The aim of the present paper is to establish a new result, which guarantees the instability of zero solution to a certain class of non-autonomous ordinary differential equations of sixth order. Our result includes and improves some well-known results in the literature.
